In a small Southern town in Louisiana, is where many of Allison’s most precious family recipes were created by her great aunt Novelean and her mother Dessie. As a young girl, Allison became interested in more than just tasting the confections but wanted a hand in making them and creating the joy she’d seen them bring to herself and so many others.  Allison spent many summers learning how to bake several delicious Southern cakes and pies and fondly remembers her great aunt Novelean saying, “it just needs a pinch of this…or a pinch of that”. To this day Novelean’s guidance and teachings echo as she bakes.  The passion for baking and serving goods created with love, flavor and Southern charm has continued to grow in Allison and now she looks forward to sharing it through Alli Cakes.
